Virtual tour of some of Alton's most noteworthy homes.  View landmarks, homes, and statues that are of important historical value to the RiverBend.

If you're planning on spending some time in the area, then you will want to take 60-90 minutes to see some of the fantastic homes and views.  You can get a street map at the Alton Convention and Visitor's Bureau.

Try to get to Christian Hill for some great river views.  Or go to Middletown to see some of the great architecture and homes of historic figures like Lymon Trumbell, author of Lincoln's Emancipation Proclamation.  See the home where Lovejoy's Printing press was unsuccessfully guarded from protestors before being thrown in the Mississippi River on the night he was slain.
