The President says stop pointing the finger. Then proceeds to point the finger at everyone else but himself. The buck stops with you, Mr. President. President Bush is no longer your scapegoat. Is anybody buying Obama’s propaganda anymore? The veiled reference to Bush and Clinton is standard operating procedure for the President.
For too long, for a decade or more, there has been a cozy relationship between the oil companies and the federal agency that permits them to drill. It seems as if permits were too often issued based on little more than assurances of safety from the oil companies. That cannot and will not happen anymore.
The President claims his administration has been on top of this from day one. The President demonizes the oil companies on the campaign trail, claiming to “keep the boot on the throats” of the oil companies. Then he portrays himself as the hero that can save us all.
The potential devastation to the Gulf Coast, its economy, and its people require us to CONTINUE our RELENTLESS efforts to stop the leak and contain the damage.
This President is a master community activist and protege of Saul Alinksy’s rules for radicals. Everything he does starts from Alinsky. Blame, demonize, isolate, mask the argument in moral arguments, the ends justify almost any means, and create conflict. He creates conflict more than anyone else in this country. That is all he knows.
P.S. We all pretty much know he was a “C” student until Harvard. He graduate Harvard Magna Cum Laude, so release the transcripts already. Could he fear embarrassment? Maybe he does not want to expose his course selection?
