Obama… Sir Paul, Soccer Champs, Yes – Brewer… Finally OK!

UPDATE:  Obama says he will meet with Jan Brewer on Thursday.

Red State notes Obama has no time for AZ Gov. Jan Brewer, but makes plenty of time for dictators.

…if it is in our national security interests Mr. Obama will at least have a conversation.

When it comes to border security and Jan Brewer,

The President seems to find her actions so noxious that he won’t even find the time to talk to her to see if they can find some common ground from which they might confront this pressing national crisis together. I understand Mr. Obama is a busy man, but can’t he find twenty minutes next week to squeeze her in?

It would seem that it is more important for Obama to meet with Paul McCartney and the Major League Soccer Champions than have a meeting to discuss the security of the Arizona Border.  The priorities of the Administration seem to be backwards concerning the Arizona law.

Brewer…said the department officials “were advised that I believe the federal government should use its legal resources to fight illegal immigration, not the state of Arizona.”

(AZ AG )Goddard said it would be wrong to assume that Arizona law enforcement officers would not act in a fair and highly professional manner.”

This is pure politics.  The Administration is pandering to the Latino voting block at the expense of all Americans.  The Administration is turning its back on the rule of law.

Just look at the response to the little girl that told Michelle Obama her mom was here illegally.

The Department of Homeland Security said it would not be investigating the incident. A Montgomery County schools official said the district would not identify the student: “There was a Supreme Court decision that makes it clear that if there’s proof of residency in the county, then we educate the child. And we’re not going to identify the student or her parents. We protect the identity of our students.”

Her mother is known to be in this country illegal, but the school, the county, and the federal authorities are willing to turn a blind eye.
